PROMOTION JOY FOR OTTER

National League treasurer and life member Dr Mike Clark presented the Second Division trophy to Otter skipper Todd Sunderman at Bath University.

The Australian wasn't too concerned about his side's one defeat against Welsh Wanderers - "the Welsh played very well," he said. "Our success is a reward for much hard training and preparation. We know this will be even more important in Division One, especially with the prospect of playing in full-size pitches at all venues."

Coach Tim Kendall echoed Todd's view and added: "The Otter club is now very well set up with more than 100 members. This season's excellent campaign is a result of a lot of work by both the players and those who support behind the scenes. There will be confidence that we can compete successfully in the top division."
